||||The Ubiquiti Plug and Play Outdoor Home WiFi Extension Kit is an all in one pre-configured solution put together by LinITX. The UI-WIFI-EXT-KT makes it easy to connect your outbuilding, garage, summer house or home office to the internet and is suitable for up to 500m. This kit is simple to install and can be plugged into your existing home router. It's comprised of the following Ubiquiti products;
- 2 x LOCO5AC (NS-5ACL) NanoStation Wireless Network Bridges
- 1 x ACB-ISP Home WiFi Access Point
- 2 x UB-AM Universal Arm Brackets
- 2 x POE-24-12W-G Gigabit Power Adapters
To install the Plug and Play Outdoor Home WiFi Extension Kit simply mount the 2 UB-AM J-poles to the exterior of both your home and outbuilding, attatch the two pre-configured LOCO-5AC (NS-5ACL) units to the mounts pointing toward one another (ensuring they have a clear line of site) and plug them in. The side mounted to your home should be connected to your existing home router, using the PoE adaptor provided. The remote end affixed to your outbuilding would then be connected to the pre-configured ACB-ISP. The ACB-ISP provides client WiFi on 2.4Ghz, custom SSIDs and passwords can be requested during the ordering process. See figure 5 above.
This Kit DOES NOT include any outdoor cable. We sell unterminated shielded CAT5e by the meter which you can find here - Ubiquiti TOUGHCable Pro - Per Metre. Allowing you to order exactly the length you need.
