The MikroTik wAP ax features 2 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, enhanced wireless antenna performance, even more RAM, and a powerful dual-core ARM64 CPU.
Featuring WiFi 6 now on both dual-band 2.4/5 GHz wireless for better performance & coverage, the MikroTik wAP ax will solve most interference issues in a crowded environment. Users can take advantage of the 5 GHz channel for more modern compatible devices, as this frequency is less cluttered.
The wAP ax is weatherproof and for extra security and less visible attachments, it can be fixed to any external wall from the inside of the case. The wAP ax also features a mounting security feature, where it can be secured with an anti-vandal screw (included), which can only be opened by the owner.
When installing, users can run the Ethernet cable directly behind the unit and through the wall via an opening in the back of the MikroTik wAP ax's case.
