||||The Ligowave 500+ Mbps mid-range wireless client - LigoDLB 5-15ac is a high performance radio system designed for use in both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint scenarios. The LigoDLB 5-15ac utilises the high-throughput 802.11ac wireless standard, in addition to the proprietary iPoll protocol, to achieve wireless speeds in excess of 500Mbps.
New form factor - The external casing of the LigoDLB 5-15ac has been improved. It now boasts a smaller form factor while retaining the original IP-65 rating. The new design is lighter as it has no metal parts, and is therefore also corrosion resistant.
Hotspot scenario support - Starting from v7.52 Infinity firmware image can be used on a LigoDLB series devices for the outdoor hotspot and other related applications. After the firmware upgrade DLB devices are converted into access points for outdoor hotspot networks and will lose the functionality of point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connectivity.
Powerful OS - The LigoDLB 5-15ac, like all LigoDLB hardware, runs on the powerful LigoDLB OS which maximises ease-of-use for set up and operation. Through the use of LigoWave's smart QoS mechanism the LigoDLB 5-15ac can provide more bandwidth for crucial services such as VoIP and IPTV. The iPoll transmission protocol maintains performance even with high numbers of clients or in noisy environments.
